Future plans for development of fisheries sector by Upazila Fisheries Department, Rupsha, Khulna-
Adoption of long term lobster and bagged shrimp farming projects for shrimp resource development.
Increase in modern method of shrimp production from 395 kg to 1000 kg per hectare
Modern lobster production increased from 631 kg / ha to 1500 kg / ha
Establishment of Unionwari Exhibition Farm through the project
Collection of updated information and preparation of database for shrimp / fish farmers
Mechanization in fish farming
Incentives / Subsidies for affected fish / shrimp / crab farmers in Covid-19 to be continued
 Establishment of nurseries in salt water / enclosed bagda shrimp as well as fry production for fish farming like Vhetki, Bhangan, Parshe, Tengra etc.
Provide training on safe shrimp production to shrimp farmers through good fish farming practice (GAP)
